Fire up your Design: 7 Burned Paper Textures

Today I have a set of burned paper textures for you guys, hopefully they'll come in handy. I've been experimenting more with scanning textures lately, rather than photographing them like I usually do. I have some pretty exciting ideas that I'm going to try out with the scanner in the future... if you have any suggestions just let me know.

Okay, I'll be the first to ask. These papers are so gorgeous and have multiple uses, wouldn't they be better suited as pngs instead of jpgs? I can't see the purpose of the jpg with a white background. I just converted them.
