5 Light and Grungy Paper Textures

Last April I posted a set of 8 subtle grunge textures and it has been, by far, my most downloaded texture pack this year. If you guys liked that post, then hopefully these light grunge paper textures will come in handy as well.

Also, I wanted to get some input from you guys: would you rather me post frequent smaller texture packs here on Lost and Taken or huge texture packs less frequently? I'm kind of leaning towards starting to post more frequently (3-4 times a week) but with smaller texture packs, around 3-7 each....in my eyes that would inject more variety into the textures here, while still remaining useful. Let me know what you think!

Click on the textures below to download the high-res version or download them all in a zip file at the bottom of the post. Enjoy!

These are my favourite textures I've made so far for Lost + Taken by far - I had no idea they were going to turn out so good! If they're a hit, I'll definitely (attempt to) make some more like this! ;)

Thank you, Callum, for the wonderful burnt paper, manhole covers, and the light grunge (yes, I took them all). They are very much appreciated.

I'd like smaller packs more often. I love the idea of a wider variety. Of course, I do love having a larger range of images in each pack, but if you have enough, you could always make 2 similar posts (though I'm quite sure you've thought of this, I wanted to share my 2 cents!)

Thank you for sharing all of these images with us. It's a life-saver when I'm looking for inspiration!

you are so awesome, you can do whatever you want (post smaller packs or larger packs) and we'll love you just the same! :D thanks for all that you share so generously!

These are great!

I found your site via Smashing Magazine. Somebody used your textures in his September wallpaper submission and added a link to your site.

I'm going to use the textures in my Windows 7 - it's set to automatically shuffle desktop wallpapers every 10 seconds.

When the OS gains popularity, you can bet that a lot more people would find these textures useful!

Great Work!
