Reader Submitted Textures: Daniel Holter

Continuing with the awesome reader submitted textures, today we have a set submitted by Daniel Holter. Daniel is a music producer who moonlights as a designer, to learn more about him head over to his personal site DanielHolter.com. He is in the middle of building a house and stopped to take some texture pictures of various building materials around the site.

You can download the high-res textures by clicking on the previews below, or download them all in a zip file at the bottom of the post. I just wanted to take a second to thank Daniel for taking the time to share these textures with the readers of L+T. Thanks

I also wanted to take a second to let you know that I'll be taking off the next week from blogging since I'll be on the road for the holidays. Have a great Christmas everyone!

Reader Submitted Textures: Jeff Foster

I've received quite a few reader submissions in the last week or so, and I can't wait to share them with you guys. Thanks to all who submitted, and keep 'em coming!

Today's textures come from Jeff Foster, who was nice enough to share with us a nice set of rust textures he found. Here is what he has to say about them:

Along the Borrego hiking trail in Lake Forest, California, stand the remains of a large tank. It's a slab of concrete with a ring of rusted metal sitting on it. The metal ring is three feet high and about thirty feet in diameter. I stepped inside it and marveled at all the different types of rust on the inside.

I wanted to say thank you to Jeff, and that the textures look great. You can download them below by clicking on the images. Enjoy!

Reader Submitted Textures: Christy  Sobolewski

Today I'm proud to announce the first reader submitted textures here on Lost and Taken. If you would like to submit your own textures to L+T just click here.

Reader Submitted Textures: Christy Sobolewski - http://averageamericangirl.com

Christy submitted a nice collection of paper, grunge, and collage textures that should be useful to designers and photographers alike.

What Christy has to say about the textures:

A variety of textures I have created with things such as: ink, tissue paper, acrylics, caulk, chalk, wood filler and even spackle.

I would just like to take a second and thank Christy for being the first person to submit their textures to L+T, I look forward to seeing what the rest of you have coming!

Click the previews to download the high-res individual images or use the link at the bottom of the post to download them all in a zip file. Enjoy!
